Columbia University (Columbia; officially Columbia University in the City of New York), established in 1754, is a private Ivy League research university in Upper Manhattan, New York City, often cited as one of the world's most prestigious universities.

Columbia contains the oldest college in the state of New York and is the fifth chartered institution of higher learning in the United States, making it one of nine colonial colleges founded prior to the Declaration of Independence. It was established as King's College by royal charter of George II of Great Britain and renamed Columbia College in 1784 following the American Revolutionary War. The college has produced numerous distinguished alumni. It has additionally been amongst the most selective colleges in the United States since its founding. With an undergraduate acceptance rate of 5.8%, it currently stands as the third most selective college in the United States and second most selective college in the Ivy League

A 1787 charter placed the institution under a private board of trustees before it was renamed Columbia University in 1896 when the campus was moved from Madison Avenue to its current location in Morningside Heights occupying 32 acres (13 ha) of land.

The Nanyang Technological University (Abbreviation: NTU) is an autonomous university in Singapore. NTU is consistently ranked amongst the world's best universities in all of the major college and university rankings and is regarded as one of the top universities in Asia.

NTU is a comprehensive and research-intensive university, with over 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The University is organized into eight colleges and schools. The University of California, Berkeley (also referred to as UC Berkeley, Berkeley, and Cal  is a public research university located in Berkeley, California. Founded in 1868, Berkeley is one of the ten research universities affiliated with the University of California system and is ranked as one of the world's most prestigious universities and the top public university in the United States.

Established in 1868 as the University of California, resulting from the merger of the private College of California and the public Agricultural, Mining and Mechanical Arts College in Oakland, Berkeley offers approximately 350 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a wide range of disciplines.

Founded in 1861 in response to the increasing industrialization of the United States, MIT adopted a European polytechnic university model and stressed laboratory instruction in applied science and engineering. Researchers worked on computers, radar, and inertial guidance during World War II and the Cold War. Post-war defense research contributed to the rapid expansion of the faculty and campus under James Killian. The current 168-acre (68.0 ha) campus opened in 1916 and extends over 1 mile (1.6 km) along the northern bank of the Charles River basin

      

                                        

                  Acharya Narendra Dev College

Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC) is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, fully funded by the Government of NCT Delhi. Since its inception in 1991, the College has evolved into an acclaimed coeducational institution providing quality education to a diverse section of Indian students through its undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes predominantly in basic sciences, applied sciences and commerce. We have a vibrant and committed faculty, devoted and supportive nonteaching staff and dedicated students. The vision of the college is for it to be recognised as a centre for academic and research excellence.

The college has ten Departments nine of which conduct an Honours Course at the undergraduate level. College also offers B.Tech courses in Electronics and Computer Science along with B. Sc. (Honors) Biomedical Sciences, which are the most sought courses of the University of Delhi. The departments of Mathematics and Chemistry also offer M. Sc. Courses. Besides these courses, the college has a Foreign Language Centre for Certificate and Diploma programmes in French, Spanish, German and Russian of the University of Delhi. Add-on courses, ELPC (English language proficiency course) and ECPDT (Effective Communication and Personality Development Through Theatre), add to students’ language and personality enrichment. College is well known for promotion of undergraduate research. Students do hands-on work under various externally funded research projects which so far have amassed a total funding of 3 crores as well as summer projects under ELITE( Education in a Innovative and Lively Environment).

The college has won accolades for its various initiatives at various well recognized platforms. We have been awarded IIIrd prize under Award of Good Practices at the mega event, Antardhvani 2013, organised by the University of Delhi. On the international front, Open Educational Quality Initiative (OPAL) has awarded highly commended status in OPAL Award for Institutions for our policy of open educational practices through OER development and research. India Today survey has placed the college amongst Top 20 Science Colleges in India last year and Top 10 in Delhi for last 5 years consecutively. Recently, college has been selected as the only college in the whole University of Delhi for setting up a Business Incubator. Through college’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell(IEDC), students are provided necessary skills so to turn them from job seekers into job creators.

Under college's recent initiative of Entrepreneurship Laboratory (EL), students get the real time exposure of hatching a business idea into a marketable product by going through every cycle of business management. They have successfully launched and are marketing many products with many ideas in the pipeline under the ambit of EL.
